Privacy Policy

Last updated: 18 June 2026

This privacy policy explains how I Am Jo Webster (“we”, “us”, “I”, Jo Webster) collects and uses your personal information, and the rights you have over it. We are the data controller for the information collected through this website. If you have any questions, or want to make a request about your data, please use the contact form on our website.

The information we collect

We only collect what we need to help you. This includes:

  • Information you give us directly, such as your name, email address and phone number when you fill in the contact form, complete the quiz, book a call, sign up to our newsletter, or buy a course or product.
  • Quiz responses, being the answers you choose and the email address you provide so we can send you your result and relevant follow up.
  • Information collected automatically, such as anonymised usage data through Google Analytics, but only if you accept analytics cookies on our cookie banner. See our Cookie Policy for detail.

How we use your information, and our legal basis

  • To respond to your enquiry and provide the information or service you ask for. Legal basis: our legitimate interests, or taking steps at your request before entering a contract.
  • To send you your quiz result and helpful follow up about how we might help. Legal basis: consent, which you give by submitting the quiz, and which you can withdraw at any time.
  • To provide courses, memberships and products you buy. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
  • To send you our newsletter, where you have asked us to. Legal basis: consent.
  • To understand and improve the website through analytics. Legal basis: consent.
  • To meet our legal and accounting obligations. Legal basis: legal obligation.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We use a small number of trusted providers who process data on our behalf under appropriate agreements:

  • GoHighLevel / LeadConnector, our customer relationship and messaging platform, which stores your contact details and sends our emails and text messages.
  • Google Analytics, which provides anonymised website usage statistics, only where you have accepted analytics cookies.
  • Payment and course providers used to take payment and deliver purchases.

Some of these providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the UK approved standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

We keep your information only for as long as we need it for the purposes above, or for as long as the law requires (for example, accounting records). When it is no longer needed, we delete it securely.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

  • ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
  • ask us to correct information that is wrong or incomplete;
  • ask us to delete your information;
  • ask us to restrict or object to how we use it;
  • ask us to transfer your information to another provider;
  • withdraw your consent at any time, where we rely on consent.

To exercise any of these rights, please get in touch through our contact form. You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the link in each message.

We hope to resolve any concern you have. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK regulator for data protection, at ico.org.uk.
