How to manage your website

Your site is built so you can change almost everything yourself, no code, no developer needed. Here’s how, in plain English. Anything in this guide can be done from the page admin once you’re logged in.

When you log in you’ll see your normal website with a thin toolbar at the top and an Edit button. Click Edit on any page to make changes, then Update (top right) to publish them. That’s the whole rhythm: Edit, change, Update.

★ The Site Hub (start here)

Most day-to-day changes happen in one place. In the wp-admin sidebar, click Site Hub (the star icon), and refresh the page if you don’t see it yet. From there you can edit:

  • Hero eyebrow: the small line above the headline (“Hypnotherapy & Success Coaching · Burntwood”).
  • Headline: the big “Transform the way you think, feel & act”. Tip: wrap any words in asterisks to make them the purple italic accent, for example you *think,* *feel* & *act*.
  • Intro line: the paragraph under the headline.
  • Stats strip: the four numbers and labels. These started as placeholders, so set Jo’s real figures here, one per line as number|label (for example 500+|Lives touched).
  • Roles ticker: the moving strip near the top, one role per line.

Change anything, click Save changes, then refresh the homepage to see it. The design stays exactly the same.

The Site Hub also has quick buttons to the brand colour control, this site guide, and the design system.

1 Changing text

This is the easy one. In Edit mode, click straight onto any words on the page and type, exactly like a Word document.

  1. Click the heading or paragraph you want to change.
  2. Select the old text and type the new text.
  3. Use the little pop-up toolbar for bold, links or lists.
  4. Click Update to save.
Every headline, paragraph, button label, price, FAQ answer and testimonial on the site works this way.

2 Changing the brand colour to match your hair

The site uses one “special” colour for highlights: buttons, links, the italic words in headlines and the little sparkles. You can change it whenever you change your photo or hair, and it updates everywhere at once, so the site always stays on brand.

  1. Go to Appearance › Editor › Styles (the brush icon).
  2. Open Colours, then Accent.
  3. Pick your new colour (for example a shade that matches your hair) and Save.
Want to try it first? Open the style guide and use the live colour picker at the top, you’ll see every accent on the page change instantly. That’s exactly how it behaves on the real site.

3 The rotating “roles” strip

The moving black strip near the top (Success Coach, Hypnotherapist, Studio Owner, and so on) is a simple editable list.

  1. Go to Appearance › Customise › Roles ticker.
  2. Add, remove or reorder the words, one per line.
  3. Publish. It re-spaces itself automatically so there’s never a gap.

4 Swapping a photo

In Edit mode, click the image you want to change, then choose Replace in its toolbar and upload a new one. Try to upload a reasonably sized image (the site will optimise it, but smaller files keep your site fast).

If you change your main photo to one with different hair, that’s the perfect moment to update the accent colour in step 2.

5 Buttons, links and prices

Click a button to change its words. To change where it goes, click it and use the link icon to paste a new web address (for example a product or your booking page). Product prices are just text, click and retype.

6 Adding or editing sections

Each part of the page (a testimonial, a course card, an FAQ, a video) is a reusable block. To add another, click the + where you want it and choose the matching pattern, then fill in the text. To remove one, select it and delete.

7 Your shop, merch and MoJo products

All your products live in your TOM CRM store, your single source of truth. The website pulls them in automatically, so you manage products, prices and photos in TOM CRM and the site keeps itself up to date.

  1. Add or edit a product in TOM CRM. It appears on the site within a day, or instantly if you click Sync products from TOM CRM now in the Site Hub.
  2. Show or hide a product with the Available in store toggle in TOM CRM. Off removes it from the website shop, handy for member-only items.
  3. Collections group your products. Coaching products show on the Shop page; merch and jewellery stay in their own stores.
  4. Feature products on the homepage: in the Site Hub “Homepage featured products” box, type the product names you want up front, one per line, and rotate them for seasonal pushes any time.
Jump straight to your store with the Open TOM CRM button at the top of the Site Hub.

8 Analytics, cookies and policies

The site shows a cookie consent banner and is GDPR-ready. To switch on Google Analytics, paste your Measurement ID (it looks like G-XXXXXXX) into the Site Hub under Analytics & cookies. Analytics only runs once a visitor accepts. Your Privacy and Cookie policy pages are editable like any other page.
